Days Nineteen and Twenty

I am back in the states, but I’d still like to tell you about Berlin. Berlin is the capital city of Germany and has recovered itself from World War II. The church next to our hotel has been renovated. The place is full of history. We rode in a tour bus and saw the Berlin Wall, the place of the book burning, and the television tower. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take many photos because it rained. The next day, we visited the parliament building. We couldn’t go on a tour, but we explored the surrounding area. I shopped with friends and rested. This was a long trip, but it was an amazing experience. I hope that I can return one day.

Tage Neunzehn und Zwanzig

Ich bin zurück in den Staaten, aber ich möchte euch noch von Berlin erzählen. Berlin ist die Hauptstadt von Deutschland und hat sich vom Zweiten Weltkrieg erholt. Die Kirche neben unserem Hotel wurde renoviert. Der Ort ist voller Geschichte. Wir fuhren in einem Tourbus und sahen die Berliner Mauer, den Ort der Bücherverbrennung, und den Fernsehturm. Leider konnte ich nicht viel fotografiere, weil es regnete. Am nächsten Tag besuchten wir das Parlamentsgebäude. Wir konnten nicht touren, aber wir erforshten die Umgebung. Ich kaufte mit Freunden ein und ruhte mich aus. Dies war eine lange Reise, es war eine schöne Erfahrung. Ich hoffe, dass ich eines Tages wiederkommen kann.
